The great thing about PPC is that is is designed for the average officer to be able to compete with the duty gear that is worn on the street. The duty matches are designed with that in mind and range from 3 to 25 yards. As you get more into it and find you want to shoot more than the duty matches, then you may want to invest in additional firearms.
